Christmas Jar Vase

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  And I love it!  This is my family’s favorite time of the year. In fact, I think my husband gets more excited about it than my three boys!  He just loves the warm, cozy feel of the lights and decorations and sitting by a crackling fire…me too!

So, some Christmas vases for you today!

Supplies:

Mason Jars, green and red acrylic paint, circle cutter and white cardstock, Sparkle Mod Podge, paintbrush, ribbon

Fill the bottom of each jar with paint and shake until the whole jar is covered.

Flip the jars upside down for about 15-30 minutes so the extra paint can drain out.

Cut out the white circles to make polka-dots on the vases. Glue those on with the Sparkle Mod Podge and paint over the entire jar.  I painted two coats to make it really sparkle.

Let dry and add ribbon to the jar lids to finish it off.

A whimsical way to display your holiday flowers or small pine boughs!

I hope your Christmas season, so far, is merry and bright!
