31 Days of Homemade Holidays: Day 3! Today we are going to make a fun Halloween treat for the kids…well, maybe not just the kids, my husband really likes these too! :)
Graham Cracker Owl supplies:
Graham Crackers, large marshmallows, candy corns, chocolate chips and candy melts
Directions: Place a large half of a graham cracker on a plate. Cut one marshmallow in half, per owl, for the eyes. On top of the marshmallows place a green or yellow candy melt. Place this in the microwave for only a few seconds, they will melt slightly and stick together well. On top of the marshmallow and candy melt, place a chocolate chip for each eye. Then finish off with a candy corn for the nose! Fun, edible craft!
Ritz cracker Spider supplies:
Ritz crackers (or other circle crackers), stick pretzels, raisins, peanut butter, white and black frosting
Directions: Place two circle crackers per spider on a plate. Cover one with peanut butter to glue the pretzels (spider legs) in place. I broke a pretzel stick in half to make each pair of legs. Then place the other cracker on top like a sandwich. Use the white frosting to glue the raisins on for eyes and paint the pretzel legs with the black frosting. And enjoy!
