Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Busy here with my nephew for the weekend. Four boys in the house is loud, messy and TONS of fun! I think they will all sleep well tonight! Here’s hoping anyway… :-)
On to today’s project! This project will go with another one coming later in the week…stay tuned.
Day 22: Marble Magnets! I have seen these all over Pinterest and even in some little boutique stores, so I thought it would be fun to recreate!
Supplies:
Scrapbook paper, glass rocks, 3/4 inch hole punch, button magnets, Mod Podge, E-6000
Begin by punching out as many circles as you need. Use Mod Podge to glue the scrapbook circles to the backs of the glass rocks. I put Mod Podge on both the paper and the rock to ensure a good bond.
Let the rocks dry overnight before moving on to the next step.
When they are dry, use the E-6000 to glue the button magnets on the back. Use in a well ventilated area, that stuff is super stinky!
When the E-6000 is dry your magnets are ready! They make great gifts! I have sen them packaged in Altoids tins or on paper with washers stuck to the back. Cute and inexpensive! I am going to use mine for another project I have coming up later in the week…
