I am used to stores having all their Christmas decorations out as soon as summer is over, but it’s a different thing when it’s happening in your own house! It’s only October and we already have one small tree up and my boys want Christmas music playing all the live long day…especially Jingle Bells….oh, so much Jingle Bells. Truly, we are having a lot of fun with this series, it’s just hard to remember that it’s only October!
Anyway, on to today’s Holiday project! Day 17: Snowman Milk Jar!
Supplies:
Mason jars
Parmesan cheese lids (black or blue if you can find them)
Black and Orange Glitter Fun Foam (with peel and stick back makes it real easy!)
Small black buttons
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
First of all, did you know that parmesan cheese lids fit on Mason Jars?? I don’t know why that is so exciting to me…but it just is! :-) I found the black lid on cheese from Sam’s Club and the blue lids are on the reduced fat parmesan at Wal-mart.
So, to start, cut ovals from the black foam and triangles from the orange foam. Peel and stick (or hot glue) them to the jar.
Then, hot glue five small buttons on for the mouth.
Now you are ready to add milk, the lid and a straw!
Snowman Milk Jars! So fun!
